Just an FYI...if you hide a comment you make no one can answer it. To answer your Samoyed question....
He does OK. Summers are tough and we walk him at night. He's indoors most of the summer though. We bath him often which keeps his undercoat to a minimum. He's not a pure bred Samoyed so maybe he's different, but his long coat is not as thick as it looks. We talked to our vet about shaving him down but the vet said the long coat actually keeps them cooler and prevents sunburns. Once it's cool we go back to daytime walks. I don't think he suffers so much as misses the snow. We used to live in Cleveland and he would wallow in it.

Thanks :] I was browsing through your photography and saw that you had a Samoyed in FL. I've been wanting one and I live in FL! I Just feel badly because it gets so hot here for them. How does yours fare in this weather?
